Student Voice: Online, but better - Chutimon Suetorsak, Mahidol University International College, Thailand

Chutimon Suetorsak, Mahidol University International College, Thailand, studied online in Fall 2021 Semester as an exchange student. We would like to introduce her experience at AIU.

“Very private Japanese class!”

I have always been interested in traveling and studying abroad in different countries. Japan is one of my dream countries that I would like to experience. Unfortunately, with the situation of the pandemic, we are not able to travel to different countries as much as before. I have to admit that one of the reasons I am interested in Japan and the language is from pop culture like anime.

To make the most out of the situation I decided to learn a new language, which is Japanese with AIU. My Japanese class is super small and I really like the class because I could practice speaking Japanese a lot more than any other language class I have ever attended in my home college. Even though the class is in the afternoon, I really enjoy my class and I do not feel sleepy at all. AIU also has a program where students can practice
speaking with friends, which is very useful and very fun. My Japanese teacher is very patient and sweet. She is always very willing to help and be understanding.

If possible I would like to study in Japan, more than a semester to experience more of Japanese culture and practice my Japanese language skill!
